Is this the most under-appreciated movie of all time?

I think this film should have won the Academy Award to be perfectly honest.

The reason for the low score is the pathological hatred for the discussion on God from the atheists, pagans, etc.

What I loved about this film was the blending of entertainment with the world issues.

How come no one has discussed world hunger? Or finding a cure for cancer? Or solving corporate greed? What other movie will be as bold as this?

My friends and co-workers loved this film and it must reach more people!

The irony is so supple and sweet.

1. On finding a cure for cancer - Plenty of people have devoted lifetimes to accomplish this. It's you religious folk you are constantly burdening them by trying take away their funds (example: by electing GOP into office) and taking away their scientific resources (example: embryonic stem cells).

2. On corporate greed - Which side of the political spectrum devotes every opportunity to reduce taxes for the wealthy, I forget?

Peter,

I don't know if you were involved with this movie or not but your praise is misplaced. The movie was badly acted, badly written, badly directed and just bad all around.

I know you want to promote this as being exciting and a fulfilling movie but it's not. You're just going to have to deal with that.

I love this movie but i agree with most of your answers. However, to sum it will be amazing to others it will be worse than a church play. It's all based on opinion friend.
