Warning: This is not a film for God-haters or angry people

This film should come with a warning that it's not for the 'angry mob' that wants to hang intelligent, courageous, God-seeking film buffs.

It's a movie that seeks to prove God's existence.

While it may sound banal to the 'angry mob', it causes many to stop and reflect on their existence and the ultimate meaning in life: When we die we will all face God.

The film is terrific and deserves a '10'.

Are you saying that you recommend this film for the angry theists who think that people with a differing worldview must be angry and hateful?

I am a Christian. I am not a terribly angry person. I thought this movie stunk. I have seen Christian movies that I liked, but this movie-which really isn't so conclusively Christian as it could be-was so bad I had to make myself watch the last hour and some. Just because a Christian made it or it is supposed to be more or less a Christian movie doesn't mean it gets a rubber-stamp of approval with no questions asked. I see that happen a lot. Lesser quality is accepted because the creation in question wears the label Christian. It shouldn't be that way. It should be of FAR greater quality than anything secular so that it glorifies God rather than causes a Christian like myself to be embarrassed by it.

So sad that the angry people gave this well-deserved film a '1'.

It tells a lot about the society we live in.

It says a lot more about the average I.Q. of people that this film got made and some people actually think it is a good film.

I'm a devout, hardcore atheist. I'm also an opinionated S.O.B. with severe anger management issues. At the same time, I also have a rather high I.Q. All that being said, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. Any movie studio that thought casting Baldwin as a "genius" was a good idea, probably did so knowing this piece of crap would bomb, therefore helping at tax time as a way to write off some losses.

As for the religious angle, nothing in this movie proved the existence of any type of God or higher power. I think they intended to prove there is more to this world than we know, because we don't know God, or because we haven't truly embraced him as our lord and saviour. Plus, there's a whole bunch of so-called "Gods" to choose from, how is one to know which is the right choice.

There's was very little in this movie that was actually good. Horrible acting, storyline, dialogue, etc. I enjoyed it for those reasons. This piece of trash was so horrifically bad, that I couldn't help but enjoy it.
