Did anything ever happen in this movie?

I happen to find this movie on IFC one night and turned it on, it was somewhere near the end of the movie and the shot was a close up of her face and she didn't say or do anything. After waiting for what felt like three minutes I gave up trying to figure out what was happening and switched the channel. A few days later it was on again and I decided to give it one more chance so I switched to the channel and it was somewhere in the middle of the movie this time, the shot was a close up of her face and she didn't do or say anything for what seemed like three minutes. So needless to say I switched the channel again. So did I happen to tune into this movie both times during a really slow part or was the whole movie like this?
