A very good movie!

I watched it at home and I almost didn't move from my chair during the 90 minutes of the movie. The suspense of waiting for what's going to happen was almost too much to bear. I rate this cinematic unique experience high, it was very well made.

I understand if some people don't appreciate this film, people who are used to being fed less difficult films to digest and who don't want to feel this huge tension of despair that is ruling the girl's life and makes her want to become a martyr.

The film gives no explanation nor any solution, it only shows the fearless fanaticism of the people who believe they are the chosen ones to punish the infidels - no matter which religious or political view they have. Don't watch it if you can't stand to experience a close personal view on this.

Agreed. I think most of the other highly critical posts are a reflection of "Americanized" movie viewing - if you don't explain to me, I won't get it.

Paradise Now is an incredible movie about the same dreadful topic. Hopefully you've seen it already though.
