I know this stuff exsists, split personalities and all, but even sum1 in the movie mentioned it, sybil could have been faking it all along. it baffles me, i have all respect for it, don't get me wrong, but in my opinion, it's like... i never knew that if 1 personality came out, the other knew nothing about it later.

In order to pretend she was so horribly abused, and to pretend to have 16 personalities for the 11 years she was in analysis, Sybil would really have to have had something wrong with her. There's no logic in trying to pull that off. Based on that alone, I'd say it was true. Besides, if she was faking it, the roots of such a compulsion would have been unearthed during analysis.
