The personalities' ages.

How old were the personalities? I know Ruthie was a very little girl, but I can't figure out the two boys or most of the other females. Were the European ones older than Sybil herself, or is that possible? Thanks!

Why don't you do a google search on Sybil +facts and see what comes up? This has all got to be covered somewhere.

Cited in the movie, the alter egos' ages range from 6 to 18. Ruthie is 6, Vicky is 18 and Sid is 15. I can't remember others exactly. Basically Sybil created a new identity whenever she felt like she couldn't handle the current situation and the alter egos didn't age with her.

I take comfort in the fact that cigarettes might kill me before things actually get worse

Wow, gulinn, thank you so much! That's a great answer! I didn't realize the alter egos are the age she was when they were formed, and that they didn't age. I really appreciate this, now I understand a lot better! Thanks!
