I got a chance to see this film a few months back at a small theatre in New Mexico and just wanted to post how much I enjoyed it. The cinematography was gorgeous. Looking forward to Part 2 of the story: does anyone know when it's going to be released?
Indeed a beautiful film, I watched it on television last week. After the end titles it says that they expect part 2 to be ready in 2009.

I read the book about the life of Milarepa several years ago...
wonderful story.
the movie is very well done.. and emotionally rivetting.
not sure if there will be apart 2 or not...no sign of anything.
