How long before Olivia's back hosting a silly cable show?

I give her two years.. she's not movie star quality and it doesn't look like her primetime TV efforts are gonna work out. Being a somewhat sexy host who knows how to be silly is about the only thing she's really good at

I find it ironic that Haislip did not get Munn's job, but has more work right now. Munn's career is faltering imo, while Haislip seems to have several gigs.

not anytime soon. Olivia has a new HBO show she starring in created by the same dude that wrote the Oscar winning "The Social network" SHe also stars in the new Sarah jessica parker movie "How Does she do it" and she is now on the cover on Shape magazine next month sooo........

I guess your definition of "starring in" and mine are worlds apart, a small piece in a movie or tv show doesn't mean you are the star to me. You could be a guest star but Olivia is no where near that kind of fame.

That said she won't be back hosting any cable show ever again she'll either fade into obscurity or keep getting bit parts for the next several years. She always has the nude card to play too if it gets real bad for her.

no am pretty sure shes one of the main characters on that HBO show. its going to be a emmy contender. Aaron Sorkin is a very good writer. so yea she wont go back to cable becuz she'll be on HBO. and sure movie roles will come pouring in after that takes off.

reply

A show you don't see to know all that much about, including what role Olivia plays, is an Emmy contender? Yeah ok.

well if Aaron sorkin is writing it expect at least a nomination. but i dont expect you nerds to know who that is or his work. go back to your dungons and dragons silly boy

reply

Um, well ya know I would, but I've never played D&D and I'm a girl, so yeah. Looks like you don't know the difference between a writing nomination and/or an acting or overall series nomination.

when the hell did i say she was going to get a emmy nod? i said the SHOW was more than likely to get one becuz of Aaron Sorkin. Face it people she is succeeding without you G4 hobos and moving on to better things.

reply

You're calling us hobos, yet you can't be bothered to spell because correctly or use proper capitalization. That makes you look like an idiot. Also, just because someone is associated with a project IN NO WAY means it's going to be good. No one in the business has the Midas touch.

ha the classic grammar "your an idiot" come back. what people do when they can't think of anything else. Your arguing with me about someone you don't even know wanting her to fail for no apparent reason. do you know how pathetic you sound? Let her do what ever the *beep* she wants. If the show doesn't make it oh well she will find another one am sure. if it does make it then whatever. who really gives a *beep* i don't. and you shouldn't either. go do something constructive with your time. this back and forth is pointless

reply

Just because you wanna pretend you don't look like an idiot when you write things online doesn't make you look like any less stupid. Also, where did I say I wanted her to fail? Oh, that's right, I didn't. I just pointed out how ridiculous it is for you to come out & state a show that hasn't aired yet is an Emmy contender based on people associated with it. Guess your reading comprehension skills are as abysmal as your writing.

Did you not read what i said? I said Aaron Sorkin made the show. so PROBABLY its going to get a nod. do you not know what PROBABLY Means? or likely means? i never said it WILL get one. you can insult me all you want on how i write things online. i really don't care. now go away. you got school tomorrow

reply

its going to be a emmy contender.

Where's the probably in that sentence? Point it out to me, will you? Graduated from school 11 years ago, so I don't have it tomorrow, you should probably pick up a few classes though.

omg lol. why is this such a big deal for you?. yes Emmy Contender. Contender meaning it might be in the run to get NOMINATED for a award. It MIGHT BE NOMINATED. not even win but just NOMINATED. haven't you heard that term before? it quite popular. you see? it was just a silly mix up. now we can all go off and do our own things. I can finish my screenwriting video and you can go watch that Dark Souls review on G4. i heard it was a very good game but a bitch to play tho.

reply

Couldn't point out the maybe. Going to & might be mean two different things. Sorry you're dense & don't realize that. I won't even touch how hilarious you & screenwriting in the same sentence is. Have fun with that.

whoa whoa! fiesty! your spitting poison left and right at me. god damn your aggressive..... I like it!

reply

You could be very right in that it might get a nod. Also I read the pilot script. Olivia is in 3 scenes total in the pilot. Articles I have read even said that Olivia is one of the least recurring charaters. The starring females in the series are Mortimer and Pill. But the script was imo quite good.

Just to stay on topic. There was an article a few months back that said that Olivia was wanted for the X Factor hosting gig but her managment turned it down.

nice. she's getting there. Aaron Sorkin is like a writing guru

The person who started this topic thread doesn't understand anything about how Hollywood works or how Olivia Munn works for that matter. Munn has no pride so she's already putting herself on the casting couch for ugly producers and directors and thus she's going to attain some kind of moderate success in the business and won't have to return to basic cable.

reply

Munn has some the best scenes in the HBO hit The Newsroom and has been highly regarded for her outstanding performances in the show by many critics . Seems like you haters going to keep trying to hate.
