Metal gear- Extremely over-rated game that sucks.

metal gears story sucks, All of the voice acting blows, Theres absolutely NO innovation... Just shooting people (With a little tiny bit of stealth thrown in that nobody cares about), The names of the characters (Solid snake, Solidest snake, Naked snake) all suck balls. God... That *beep* camera mixed with the god-awful controls creates a game that i would rather go to hell then play!
Oh god! Just thinking about the pile or crap makes me wanna die!

I'm getting kinda sick of it. We have seen about 2 killing games a day being released since the ps1 days.

I'd have to thank games like gitaroo-man, Guitar hero, Amplitude, Stretch panic, Frequency, and the other like... 5 games released that you don't shoot kill repeat, for provideing me fun.
Don't get me wrong... i like violent games, But only if they do somthing different (Bully). Games like Halo, Killzone, F.E.A.R., Metal gear, Ratchet and clank, the other 24536 games that are like this, They all seem to be getting old... Some are ok... like Socom, Socom 2, Socom 3, Socom FTB, Socom 4, and Socom FTB2, are ok, But still are SOOO FRIGGIN OVERDONE that there just old now.

why isnt it your typical action game? (And please dont call it a "Stealth game"... It's not a stealth game, its an action game with a coupld added stealth features...)
From what i've played of it, I shoot people, and watch a half hour cut scene trying to pretty much say "Kill more terrorests", Then kill the terrorests.
...fun......?
It's not a "BAD, BAD, BADLY HORRIBLE PILE OF CRAP" I just think its another action game to get hyped up, and then just have average graphics, sub-par story, too long cut-scenes, bad voice (Etc) Kinda like Destroy all humans. (Hyped up, and ended up being a good game... but not amazing)
Back to the point-
Why don't you think its not a typical action game!? From what I see, It does "NOTHING" different... except that uts not an FPS... Soooooo many FPS's out now that they just suck.

i was under the impression that you could go through the game without killing a single terrorist, that's what the 'added stealth feature' is for.

You only kill if you want to - its not that hard to stealth your way through the entire game and not kill anybody - I just think the MGS hater just isn't good enough to get far into the game and therefore hates it because he can't do it.

sharedont see how anyone could say it sucks, it is one of the most highly regarded games ever, up there with the ff series, castlevania: sotn, and super metroid.
