Car Chase?

Not the greatest film ever by any means, but does anyone agree that the muted, rain soaked POV car chase was a really nice idea, really well executed?

reply

I agree. It was well done. It was very effective at conveying fear, horror and helplessness.

But, I agree as well with the posters that said he should have sped up and rammed the car of the gunmen. I would have. If someone was trying to kill my father, I would have pushed that gunmen's car into oncoming traffic or a parked car. I wouldn't have just panicked helplessly in fear.

Some posters say he did try. I didn't see it. I wouldn't have just tried --- I would have succeeded. I might have gotten shot and killed but I wouldn't have just let my father alone there to die. I would have hit that car.

He did speed up, but had to brake to avoid a collision and was not able to catch up.

Funny thing about the car chase it was filmed on a sunny day.rain was added CGI which is astonishing because I would have never have guessed it because it looked so natural
