It's a lovely movie...

I had never heard of this but stumbled on it at Hastings yesterday when I was looking for a good Christmas movie... It's very simple yet so sweet and old fashioned.
For those that have not seen the movie stop here...

Although a very sweet movie I really wanted more at the end. I never read the book and have no idea what that entailed but I felt like they ran out of time and had to hurry the ending up a bit in the film version. I wanted to see more of a romantic relationship/flirtation between the two main characters at the end. Call me old fashioned but I wanted to see them falling in love and becoming a family... it's still a lovely movie and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to see an old fashioned Christmas movie.

I loved it as well, and I agree with you about the end.. We needed more!! I wish it had made the big screen, so more people would have seen it..

I've never heard of "the Christmas Cottage." Do you have any information about it? I can't wait to see it this next Christmas!
