shareyes. timewise this is the first one where he comes to town and becomes head of law enforcement there. the rest are when he's actually in the job there and follow on. i made the same mistake but there's no reason for you to do so!
shareI started with this, though I saw a bit of the sequel/first film (?!!) on TV. I purposely waited to see them without the commercials. I've read all of the books, too.
shareFor anybody who is still wondering in what order to watch the series, I will say that it doesn't really matter. But it is strange that 'Night Passage' didn't come out first. So far, 'Stone Cold' is the best I've seen. So it tends to make the viewer just a little disappointed with any that you watch after that. But I may yet be proved to be wrong about that.
