Sometimes it makes you wonder....

Now I know this is a silly made-for-tv movie on Lifetime. BUT you'd be surprised at how common this crazy stuff is!!! I think foster care is a great thing, but there are lots of crazy stories in which you can see that it is not always for the better.

The interesting thing about this movie was that they had several foster kids, with the same weird situation. My only thing was, where was there real kid? The thing that really bothered me the most though was that they were allowed to take in foster kids after each one died. I don't think it would happen in real life, BUT it does go to show that if you have money, a nice house and a flawless profile, anyone can take in a foster kid and adopt. That's what's really creepy.

On the other spectrum you have really trahy people that take in foster kids for the monthly paycheck and could care less about the child. Better care and investigation has to be done with issuing foster children to families. These people were obviously nut job and it was a bit over the top, but there have been some crazy cases with psycho foster parents. What a messed up world.

That's the one part I didn't get either. How could she adopt sooooo many children? I know I missed the first part of the movie but ... WTF.

How could the family be allowed to keep adopting children after children. I thought there could be at most two children before them, but when Abby opened the photo album... I think that was the creepiest part of the whole movie; that the Goode could be allowed to just keep adopting children even though the previous ones assumingly disappeared or turned up dead. Hasn't anyone heard of autopsies?
