I didn't like it at all

Man.... I couldn't even watch it all the way.
To me it was comparable to running up a long long hill under 90 degree F weather and 150 humidity.

I haven't finished it yet, but I'm going to today. So far, all I can say is that 80 year old people should stop directing movies. It's almost as bad as Before The Devil Knows You're Dead. Instead of making an interesting movie they turn it into a soap opera. I can't believe both films got any kind of praise at all except for the acting.

Have to say I expected a bit more from this..but Before the Devil Knows was a great one!

I didn't dislike this film but I can see why some people does it.

IMO Coeurs is not a bad film but when you read "A film by Alain Resnais" people expects something more, something better. I mean "Hiroshima, mon amour" is easily one of the best 20 movies ever made.
However to expect that every Resnais film should be a masterpiece could lead to a huge disappointment.

Coeurs is a flawed film but still contains some wonderful moments. Many lesser directors would be proud having this film as part of their own filmography, but for Resnais' standards is rather mediocre.
