Personally, I was affected by the isolation and emptiness of the characters. Further, I was impressed by the direction, editing, and acting of the film. I can understand that it's not the type of thing that will appeal to everyone, but simply saying "OMFG i am pissed" adds nothing to the forum and it makes you look ignorant.

This film is OK, not great just fine. Albeit could be considered mediocre if compared to previous films directed by Alain Resnais.
shareQuite harsh from the OP. Private Fears in Public Places may not be a quintessentially perfect film but the performances are great and result in screen chemistry along with a few hilarious moments.
