Lucy Lawless will win, 100% Sure

I am not surprised with this Lucy will win the show, she has a crazy cult following and has probably millions of more people voting for her than any other contestant. Hal as we saw doesn't have many voters and Jai although is a good singer doesn't have that fan support and to me doesn't have the personality and stage energy to win, he's just kinda that nice guy who always has the same smile on. The only other person I see having a chance is Alfonso because of his fan following and his energy on stage, dancing etc. I don't understand what David's problem is with him he is a great dancer and a former professional dancer. Man I would go crazy if he did a duet with Tom Jones.

I doubt Lucy Lawless will win, but you have a point: she does have a crazy following.

Alfonso is the guy they use to market this show, he always was the one we'd see in ads when they'd tell us "you won't believe your ears". Plus, there all people like me who want to see him do the Carlton dance, so we gotta keep him in there, lol

The guy is indeed a great dancer (even though the Carlton dance could have people think otherwise). Little Richard is one of a few big stars who've hired him for his dancing...Each time Foster says the guy can't dance, he's insulting the guy sitting next to him.

Also why is cheech there, he is just plain horrible, I know she wasn't great at all but Carly brought so much more to the show than him.

Lucy can sing. Better then any of them, if given the right works. besides shes pretty, and if she sung with the xena accent she puts on she' blow them away.

Lucy's Xena fans have heard her sing on the show, on Broadway in Grease, last year in a show with the Seattle Men's Chorus - Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Xena conventions, and other events. And they know that she studied opera for a while when she was younger. So they know what she can do, even if others don't.

Nerves? Singing as she has in the past, isn't the same as singing in a competition where you're being judged. Frankly I think she hasn't had very good matches for her vocals. Nothing against Dionne, Richard, Kenny, Smokey, or even Michael (even though I don't care for his singing). She has sounded a bit better when they've done their group vocals. I think the guys were lousy singing "Hit me with your best shot." Cheech couldn't remember the words.

Jai and Alfonso were both very overshadowed on Thursday. I could hardly tell when Jai was singing with Patti, only when he sang parts alone. Same with Alfonso and Chaka. And then Cheech had finally found the right match for him with doing jazz with Al.

Is that why Marie made that cutting comment about Lucy being like Marilyn Monroe, all beauty and so so voice?

I was wondering what she was smoking when she say that.

I wont say Lucy is the best, but when she had the right material, she's great. The song she sang Thursday was definately wrong for her. She's a contender. As is Hall, Alfonso and until last night, Jai.

But IMHO, Jai has been overrated. He's been good in his stuff, but hardly heads and shoulders above everyone else all the time.

Alfonso has been doing the right song. Hal song choices were a bit mixed. I preferred his performance of Mr Roboto to the other Styx song. But his Twisted Sister stuff rocked big time. Maybe he needs to keep performing with a guitar.

You need to clean the wax from your ears.....get some cotton swabs for from Day one, Lucy Lawless came out belting those songs with style and melody. She is a great singer

I think she can sing rather well, but I think the others are better than she is. After the first show, I thought she would probably come in second, but then she seemed to go down hill a little bit after every show from then on. In my opinion, Hal Sparks did the exact opposite. I was surprised by how well he sang when he first started, but I didn't think he would make it too far. As the show has progressed, I think he has gotten better with each performance and I think he stands a chance to win (at least 2nd, Alfonso is still better).

In my opinion, Jai should have been there till the end and won it. I do think Lucy is a good singer, but I think the others are better and she should have been voted off last and not Jai. I agree with those stating that he just didn't have the fan base. Now it's just a competition to see who has the most fans, not who can sing the best.

Don't get me wrong. Lucy was good her first few performances. But the last few were a little screechy. Definately not worthy of being in the top three.

in the beginning i said that Alfonso, Jai, and Hal would be the final 3. Lucy can sing, just not as well as those three. The reason Jai got voted off was because of Lucy's fan base, and the fact she always wears "revealing" outfits. She didn't deserve to go on. I am glad Alfonso won. He was so awesome on Thursday night that there were tears coming to my eyes. I agree that Hal has progressed tremendously. If he hadn't strained is voice as much as he did with Dee, he would have been better on Thursday. Considering that, he did very very well. I really really wanted him to win even though I knew that Alfonso was the better singer. But I figured Lucy would be out of the competition before Lea.

Why are you blaming Lucy's fans for causing Jai to be elimnated? Hal was the one that had been in the bottom 3 the week before so I'd say it was his fans that pushed Jai out but when you really think about it it was Jai's fans not voting that caused his demise.

All in all I think the best singer won and that Lucy did deserve 2nd of the 3 left. If Jai had been in the top 3 with Lucy and Al then any oder of finish would have seem ok to me. Hal's screaming just didn't seem like singing to me and he just did too much of it not showing really any range at all.
