WW3 was a WCW match, and it was their attempt to outdo the Royal Rumble.

My mind knows not the state of tiredness

WW3 95 was the best one in my opinion. The broadcasting was great. Made it feel like the World title was really worth something (back then it was).

1996: This one was okay but what sucked most about it was that the Horsemen and
Dungeon Of Doom eliminated each other at the start of the match for fighting outside the ring? Bull****. That did away with alot of competition for the NWO, plus they spent most of the night in the ring with the cruiserweights and jobbers.
I liked Regal's elimination at the end. Took all of the NWO to get him out.

1997: I thought it was slightly better than 96. The final showdown with NWO VS WCW was great. Then Hogan came out as the surprise entrance which I thought was the best moment of the night. But the finish was lame. I have a bunch of matches on tape from 97 where "Sting" comes down and to everyone surprise hit's a WCW guy and it turns out to be Hall Nash or Hogan under a mask. Well I have 5 or 6 different matches where this happened before this payperview and the announcers acted like that was Sting getting in the ring, stepping over the top rope? It just made the announcers look like total idiots.

1998: The worst of the bunch the regular card was one of the worst I had seen by WCW. Here's the lineup as I remember.

Here are my ratings on 1 to 5 stars.

Glacier Vs Wrath: Wrath was on a winning streak and beat Glacier. Nash ended his streak a couple of days later I remember clearly. Sound familiar? 1 star.

Booker T Vs Scott Norton for the IWGP title: Cancelled

Kevin Nash Vs Scott Hall: Never Happened because the NWO attacked Hall. Dud

Steiner Vs Steiner: Never Happened because the NWO beat up rick backstage. DUd Goldberg comes out and beats up the NWO.

Kidman Vs Juventud for the Cruiserweight title: A good match. 2 and a half star

Jericho Vs Duncum Jr. Duncum had just come in that week and they were trying to get him over. Nobody cared. Jericho and Ralphus ruled!!!! 2 star match for Jericho.

WW3 98: Gee who's gonna win this one. They put Nash in the third ring with 19 no name bottom of the barrel jobbers and he dumps them all in 5 minutes. I guess jobbers have a natural ability to be easily thrown over the top rope when you only grab them with four fingers. You hardly see any other eliminations going on because they just show Nash hagin out taking a break and the announcers talking how smart he is. Bad camera work overall. 2 and a half star. I like battle royals. but this was one of the worst. Maybe beaten by the 1995 Royal Rumble (egod that was the worst Rumble I had ever seen or maybe 1999).

Bret Hart Vs DDP for the US title. The main event and the two guys who could save the card. But I was still overall pi$$ed I paid $30 for this dumper so the match was probably better than what I would have given it because I was disgusted with what I was given. 3 star match.

I should have known better because I put down 30 bucks 2 months earlier for fall brawl 98. The main event got my interest.

WWE own WCW right? Well then WWE can bring it back if they choose to. I would love to see it back again.

mcmahon would never agree to do anything with tna. it would cause to many problems. plus can you imagine wwe or tna agreeing on the other company winning the match? especailly mcmahon? plus the 60 man match had way to many jobbers because 60 is way too much. if you look at the wwe roster there is barely 60 guys on it. i did enjoy the match, but enjoy the rumble better. i didnt like the idea of all 60 starting in the ring, although i understand you cant do a countodwn thing with 60 people.

Sorry but I disagree. I've only seen one WW3 (1998, I just have the 3-ring battle royal), but I really don't think I'd want it to come back. They all go buy too quick, 60 guys start, and usually a 1/2 hour later the match is over. If they all came down in 1-minute intervals that'd be ok, and if they just used one ring, but that'd be too much like a regular Royal Rumble anyway though.

I really wanna see the first one from '95 (Bad year in both WWF and WCW) in my opinion.

If you are looking for a copy of WW3 95 you should be able to find it on eBay. 1995 is easier to find than the other three. The rarest one I think is 1996. It took me 4 years to find an official copy.
