'06 RR stats

This is one of the best rumbles for iron-man performances, and it's the first time that two guys lasted an hour in one match. It was kinda cool that #1, 2, and 30 were the final 3 (HHH, Rey, Orton). Same thing happened in '95, Michaels, the British Bulldog, and Crush were #'s 1, 2, and 30.

Anyway, to the numbers:

Top 5 in endurance:

#2 Rey Mysterio - 62:12
#1 Triple H --- 60:11
#11 Carlito ---- 38:29
#12 Chris Benoit - 30:31
#14 Joey Mercury - 29:14

The rest 10+ minutes:

#16 Johnny Nitro - 25:43
#20 Rob Van Dam -- 23:51
#18 Eugene ------ 16:24
#21 Orlando Jordan - 16:09
#15 Tatanka ------ 14:09
#17 Trevor Murdoch - 13:41
#30 Randy Orton -- 13:05
#25 Shawn Michaels - 12:55

Booker T and Sylvan lasted the shortest at 18 seconds, then Coach at 31 seconds, Simon Dean at 45 seconds, and Chavo Guerrero at 1 minute.

Now I gotta update the all time minutes leaders list, I'm not posting everyone, just the guys who competed this year. Or maybe just the 50+ all time minutes guys.

Bahhhhhhhhhhh sonofab!tch.

I watched the 2006 Royal Rumble match the other day, and I used the vcr timer from the display info on the screen. Turns out I got all different times for each guy than what I posted. Something must've been wrong with my stopwatch I guess. Dammit.

I got about 1 hour and 15 seconds for HHH, and around 1 hour, 2 minutes, and 14 or 15 seconds for Rey Rey.

I'm doing every single Royal Rumble match over again (sigh), but the all-time list is probably still correct in terms of rankings, the times are just wrong.

It seems that for mostly just the guys who last a long time, their times have changed at least 4 seconds or more, when I timed everything with my stopwatch.

I did the whole 1992 Royal Rumble last night (the Coliseum Video vhs version, the one on Ric Flair's dvd is slightly edited). I got a new time of 59:27 for Flair (well, when Sid's feet touched the floor, not the bell) instead of 59:15, and a 34:05 for Piper instead of 33:58, and a 27:01 for IRS instead of 26:56, the top 3 lasting guys from that year. Alot of the "short time" guys lasted about the same, give or take a second.

I think there's a website that has all the "in & out" times, and eliminations for all the Rumbles, I forget what it's called, and I think they had the above 3 guys' times correct for '92, maybe I won't have to do 'em all again (whew).

I've noticed many errors on Wikipedia, they're not all correct either! But who cares eh? LOL.
