pie fight at end blew it for me

I was getting really into all the yelling and creepiness, but when they started throwing cream pies at each other at the end, I felt tricked. The sped-up, silly music didn't help either.

As a moviegoer, whenever I'm tricked I become upset and take it out on what ever is near me. Let's just say that my roommate is now the owner of a BROKEN Sanyo VCR.
