Just saw the World Premiere
Saw it last night at the Film Fest here in Toronto. The film had strong acting which carried a somewhat predictable storyline. Powerful and sad, definitely not something to see if you want to walk out with a smile on your face. For a first time feature film director/writer, Hudson did a good job. Angel Li was fantastic and has a bright future in films. She barely spoke a word and when she did it was in Chinese yet you could feel and see the pain in her eyes. The three primary actors really shined in it with Peter Mullan as the
standout. I recommend it
