A film starring three of my favourite actors! This is really exciting, anyone have any more info on the film?

The film is set on a fishing trawler. Gary plays martin’s dad and peter as his crazy shipmate. The fishing industry isn't doing well and martin and peter want to use the trawler in an illegal way to earn money. Great cast, great script. Should be a great film.

If you are a Martin Compston fan then you should definitely check out "Red Road". It just had its premiere in Cannes and Martin is just back from all his promotional duties. It’s had some really good reviews and has been compared to the Meg Ryan film "In The Cut". It’s a thriller set in Glasgow with some great twists. The cast are all very good independent actors and have a knack for portraying complex characters. Not sure when it’s released in the UK or USA but it might be selected cinemas. One to look out for though. Enjoy
shareI'll probably have to wait until it comes out on DVD, unfortunately. It does sound really good, and I was pleased to see it received good reviews! Martin is making some really good career choices, he's starting to establish himself as one of Scotland's great new talents.

this is an incredibly sad and depressing movie. it's very well done and well-acted, but not something you want to watch if you want to feel good afterwards.
people really should go watch this film when it get broader release. until then, you'll just have to wait.
