Comparison to Haemoo

I thought True North was a great film when I saw it in Toronto several years ago. Today I saw Haemoo (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3303728/), a South Korean film with a very similar premise: a fishing trawler smuggles migrants. The two films had other similarities but Haemoo evidently had a larger budget and overall greater intensity in the unfolding of the story.
