I watched it again for about the fourth time tonight. just happened to be channel surfing and it had just started. It's one of those movies that just suck you in and you can't stop watching! Of course it doesn't hurt that Eric Roberts is gorgeous and both he and Anne Heche deliver fine performances. If you haven't seen it you must!! My one little qualm is the scene where Eric's character loses it after she tells him she lost the baby. just doesn't come across as very believable to me, but maybe that's just me.

I love this movie too! But then, I too am a huge fan of Eric Roberts. And I like Anne Heche too, she has a decent acting range.
I agree that the scene you mentioned was a little over the top, but then sometimes Eric Roberts does this ha!
But other than that, I thought he was superb. The sadness he shows at the end was heartbreaking, especially when he talks to his son at the airport.

Eric Roberts has never really gotten many of the roles he deserves.

I am watching this movie right now and has to be about my 5th time at least. Also love this movie.

It sucked me in today, for about the 3rd or 4th time!

I agree, am watching this later today, as Eric Roberts and his wife were on Wife Swap last night. I love him as an actor and just got so sucked into this movie. I also think Ann was great in this part. This movie is why I stay open toi all movies, because you just never know when something will win you over when you least expect it.
