World Premiere Reviews

The "reviews" of the subject text is plural because I'm sure there'll be other people that'd like to post what they thought at the world premiere of this film at the Milwaukee International Film Festival.

There's two reasons why I didn't think it was great: 1. I went in with very high expectations. 2. It just didn't seem entirely original to me.

I'm the type of person who listens to the music of a film. This music was mediocre. The plot was of a pretty standard format. Visually, however, it was beautiful. My biggest complaint about it was that the climax was too short. The whole film is about tracking a killer and let's just say, that the end didn't really satisfy me.

As Willem Dafoe said after the movie himself, (he did a Q & A session with director and producer) this film is more of a character piece than a police story. He's in pretty much every shot, but carries 10% of the dialogue.

So that's my choppy, unorganized review of the movie.
