What has been your favourite academy award shows and hosts?
I have iked every award show hostyed by Billy Crystal

The first three hosted by Johnny Carson still hold up. The last one he did was a little wobbly. He knew when to quit.

My favorite is the year titinic won. Billy Crystal hosted that year and remains my favorite host

I agree with the Titanic year (1998) and the first year Johnny hosted (1979) have been the best to date in Oscar's second fifty years.
