Everyone loves Jekyll, I see no reason to cancel it.

It wasn't cancelled, more like they never intended for a second series.

Rumor has it that Moffat already wrote the script for the second series long ago. So what's the problem? Who do we have to petition to get the sequel to 'Jekyll' produced?! It's such a fantastic mini series. Everyone who's seen it seems to have thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's a shame - as I think it was a great series. A very unique spin on the old tale. Dare I say it - much better than most of Moffat's stories at Doctor Who? I suspect that Doctor Who is just taking up a lot of Moffat's time and energy at the moment. It does look like the time for a second series has passed. :(
