American remake

Soooo apparently there's an American movie adaptation of this in the works, and Chris "Captain America" Evans is slated to star. This sounds just intriguing enough, hopefully they don't mess it up and are able to fix a few of the plot holes in the show that keep it just short of being freaking brilliant. Thoughts??
