Bob and the ants

Say I am too 27 and I watch this, I find it cute and not brainwashing like many other shows. Anyway I was wondering what is up with Bob and the ants.. I mean he is a anteatter and he trys to make friends with them. What is up with that..

I have no clue, it's very odd. In the "Keepers of the Tree" episode, Bob is a crossing guard for the ants, helping them cross a branch by using flowers as flags. Then he says to Wartz, "Well, it's lunchtime," and walks out of frame..Very disturbing. The ants also once gave Bob a gift, it was a magnifing glass and a letter that said "Now you can see the world from our point of view"...Again, I have no idea what that's supposed to mean.

If you think about it, Bob's relationship with the ants is VERY disturbing!

I think that's the only thing that bothers me about this show. In one episode he was all like "Come back little.. Ant.." as it ran back into its hole. Then he looks up at Snook asking why are they afried of him.. Could it be because you're a anteatter?

I have a 2 and half year old, and I watch this show every other day. The bob the anteater thing is VERY disturbing. I hate to say it, but he some times sounds like a child predator, luring the ants with gifts and presents etc... Weird and creapy and doesn't add to the show. Hard to explain to little ones: Well he is an anteater, but he doesn't eat ants. Me thinks he does..

Well I wouldn't go that far but yea he does sound like he trying to lure the ants.. Have ya tried saying something to your little one?
