Weather channel moving maps gone- Storm heading HERE
And so is my thread- not THAT old about the disappearance of the moving weather maps on the Weather Channel last winter- I complained that the public could not then be as prepared especially over Hurricanes
I've been saving pictures of the Hurricane Joaquin now reaching the Bahamas-
Just last night the news media were saying the storm would track north- reports of people in the Carolinas and Virginia and even Pennsylvania getting ready for another Sandy- no way- that was at the end of October and collided with a huge Canadian arctic storm-
Joaquin appears to still be moving right towards FLORIDA- I'm in Jacksonville- on the short series of pictures I've taken since morning- I'll be taking more and when I click them in sequence in my viewer- the storm has LITTLE northward movement.
I don't know what the mainstream media is saying about it- but if it continues on course it may cover the florida peninsula soon- and as big geographically at least as Katrina was.
WHAT is going on?
Sometimes I wonder if we're being bantered about on the rocks by other people not concerned at all.
