I might watch this, but it's rather old and for example now we know for sure humans are a major impact on global warming, we generally have better proof and data, concensus in the scientific community is unanimous etc. Is the movie dated in this regard and if so can anyone recommend a more up to date documentary on the subject?

I can't think of a documentary, but if you want a book on the subject, you could try Clive Hamilton's Earthmasters - Playing God with the climate.

Do a search. You will find the truth. You will find that alarmism has exaggerated GW & that it's not AGW.
