A really bad movie

I found it weird too, and I narrowed down the two reasons why:

1) The director sucked. Absolutely sucked. Every other shot is either an EXTREME close-up or a weird POV shot (like every time it shows someone driving, we would always see the road in front of them, but there was no point to even have a driving scene in the first place). But the close-ups are what got me - the camera was always right in the speaker's face, no matter who the speaker is.

2) The plot sucked. This is apparently supposed to be a romance...? But there's no romance. We're supposed to believe, with 15 minutes left in the movie, that these two are in love and pining for each other? The only interaction they've had is two scenes and feuding articles/voiceovers. The chemistry could have been there, but the script prevented it.

It's a shame - the premise is good and I've enjoyed the two leads in everything I've seen them in in the past, but they just weren't given enough to work with.
