Ok, my memory is fuzzy here. But the revenge ending is either one of the two: You shoot skx and the uncle hits you. You then fall unconscious. skx surivives to be in the second game because the bullet goes in his mouth and out his cheeks.
or two: you shoot skx and his uncles shoots you too, but you survive because it went in your mouth and out your cheek.
It is better to keep your mouth shut and look stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt.

I've tried both endings and the are, in fact, the same. Which is stupid. They both bring you to the bar with your black chick friend, and you have exactly the same conversation.
And, to tell you the truth, ending of this game is REALLY disappointing. Build up is great, the mystery really gets you intrigued and wanting to find out more about Thomas, the birds and all the craziness. But then they give you next to nothing.
