I agree, but the bigger problem I have regarding Stephanie/Kenny is that they were basically last season's cliffhanger. And then when this season started, they're already an established couple and nobody is "shocked" by it, like PJ and Bobby were when they saw the two of them kissing in the street. The whole thing was completely glossed over and it really made the events between last season and this one seem rather disjointed.

While I hate the steph-kenny hookup, simply because they have no chemistry, what they are doing with it is right on target for what I would expect from those two personalities. I get the impression they are both settling but somehow found something that clicks for them. He's timid and likes being bossed around; she's bossy. It's like watching an out-of-the-bedroom s&m relationship. share

I'm beginning to think it's intentional now- like the writers are saying to themselves "We made them a couple but let's see how awkward we can make any physical contact between them!" Maybe they think it's funny?
At the Jazz Concert he couldn't/wouldn't even touch her. They never sit next to each other at Crowley's or the poker games. It feels too obvious to just be coincidental...
