Canceled Or Ended?

Was My Boys cancelled or did TBS just end the show? I did watch the
finale and felt dissapointed as did many other viewers. Why did
the network cancel or end the series? Was it due to low ratings?
Or because Jim Gaffigan was leaving the show? There should have
been a proper wrap up to My Boys.

Probably a little bit of both but more that the network saying they didn't want to continue with the show, but at least they allowed the show to wrap everything up before ending it.
