There were many out of context clichés in this movie which we saw on DVD.
However the biggest complaint we had was the audio was all screwed up.
The foley sounds and background was way, way too loud and if you toned it down to an acceptable level then the dialogue was almost inaudible.
Did anyone else come across this poor quality DVD?

Update
My center speaker was knocked down during cleaning. It was face down.
After watching a third movie with poor sound I thought I'd better check my system. So the comment above is retracted.

exactly my thought!

Yes I noticed problems with the audio.

I also noticed the overuse of cliches.

Yes, it was formulaic and predictable, but it had it's moments. The cast and crew appeared to really put their hearts into it and worked it seriously, but all in all it was about the longest 90-minutes I've spent in a good long while.

But hey, as long as everybody got paid it was probably better than being unemployed.

Hey,

Not to stick my dick in your ear, but if the cast in this movie did anything right (which they didn't), they certainly didn't put their hearts into it. The acting was worst that Nicolas Cage in Wicker Man (check it out - funny movie). It's atrocious. They may or may not be capable actors, but they put no effort into their roles. It's such bland acting. Not that the script is good or anything, but Mr. Whitaker at least could have read it.

P.S. He's mentally retarded.
