Southern conman by way of WWII RAF Pilot. Bad accent and an unconvincing liar.

Second season is incoherent. The parole officer plot-line? Yikes.

A lot of potential in a series that goes nowhere.

Disagree. Show was very good, but never seemed to find an audience.

I guess there wasn't enough violence or it required paying attention to the storyline.

Too much for many people these days.

This argument would make more sense if there weren't countless non violent shows that happen to be successful.

Yeah, I love Eddie Izzard. I think he's hilarious, but he can't do an American accent to save his life.

I'm only on the second episode since I just found it on Netflix, and I don't think his American accent is too bad, but I don't know why they didn't do the obvious thing and make the two leads don "fake" English accents. They could have told people they moved to the US before they had kids or whatever.

If I have to be like them, I'd rather be no one.

I disagree completely with your assertion that the second season is incoherent. Can you specify your opinion with examples of where you feel there is incoherence in any of the storylines? I'm actually intrigued to see how you as an outsider or non-fan perceive the show.

And unfortunately its really not the fault of the show that the potential of the series goes nowhere since they were not writing the second season of 7 episodes as the final episodes... The story was leading to more resolution but was cut by the writers strike and then cancelled by FX.
