Just one question....
Why was this show cancelled? Did i miss something? it was amazing! I don't get it...
shareFX cancelled it (after waiting almost 6 months after the season 2 finale) and decided that it wouldn't be back. I agree, i loved it and still miss the show.
shareI'm not sure, but I think season 2 was supposed to be much longer, and they had to stop because of the writers' strike. And then when the strike was over, FX just decided to move on. pity!
shareAgreed, the writers strike killed a number shows around this time and this was probably the best of them.
It didn't help that they sort of seemed to rush the last couple of eps either, maybe to get in before the strike. I really didn't like that the neighbor woman ended up in the secret, she was better as an antagonist. It ruined some of the better situational tension that made the show so interesting.
I think they still would have found a way to get back on track though...the characters were just too memorable, the whole premise just so nicely done...I really do miss this show.
does everybody agree there is no political motivation to stop these series?
shareWho knows what those liberals are up too at any given time. I just finished watching the series and it did get a little dark at the end which made me want it to go on even more, but where could it go, I wonder. I loved it. I live it. I think about it often and I miss it.
shareI'm just now started watching this series. I'm on episode three. If you are talking about Margo Martindale, please remember she can do no wrong, She is one of my all time favorite cinema people. I think she is great in every film and series I've seen her in. I can't get enough of her.
