I thought this was a satirical parody of radical feminism

But apperantly it wasn't making fun of it at all, but actually celebrating radical extreme feminism in which anything remotely male is bad. But funny thing is so many parts actually seem like it was mocking how ridiculous these girls were.

I love this movie! I want a sequel.

Prayers we prayed were like a drug. The love we had we had to let it go. Never getting it again.

I didn't get what was up with this movie either. It didn't reflect any real feminist theory or address any actual feminist issues. The evils of tampons and the shape of the Washington Monument? Seriously? Why didn't they address equal pay, equal housework, domestic violence, rape, or any of the stuff feminists are actually concerned about? They lightly touched on body image, but even that they didn't really go into.

celebrating radical extreme feminism in which anything remotely male is bad.
Is that a typo? Because that makes no sense. Millions of feminists have been working for a good 100 years to fight the idea that one gender is inferior to another. That's like complaining that vegetarians only eat meat.

I enjoyed the nuance and balance of this film, which apparently escaped you. Radical feminism was in fact gently mocked at times in this film, and it was clearly shown that the characters at times were too extreme in ways that were unfair to their family members for instance. But it also gave those ideas a fair hearing, even while it pointed toward not letting them rule your life in an extreme way.

The ending was pretty silly, but before that I thought it was a truly excellent film.
