This movie puts down Blacks!

The toy served as a metaphor of a early 1900's minstrel show blackface character.
I can't believe all the rasisism in America these days. Shame on us. Never forget.

You could be on to something here. In the film, Linux--a white man--attempts to cast the figure away from him, declaring (in a decidedly non-white voice...) that he will not be seeing it again. But the spectre of racism comes back to haunt him. It cannot be so easily brushed aside.

The scene where the statuette screams, "I am the monster, and your name is Frankenstein," is one of the most powerful and disturbing in the film. This movie is a true masterpiece.

WHY NOT MAKE A NEW MASTERPIECE MR. LOWTAX?
