Resuming after cougar town concludes?

Did anyone else hear this news?
Apparently Courtney is shopping it to Netflix and HBO who are possibly interested.

This is amazing news as this was so good and clever, and cox played Lucy brilliantly.

I do think it's odd that showtime wouldn't be the obvious choice for Dirt to return to however, as the creator is the same guy who created and currently showruns 'house of lies".

And with 'californiaction' ending soon, 'dirt' would fit in quite nicely with the established audience whilst prob bringing in more women.

Thoughts?

Well, that would be great, however, would she get most of the cast back? It will not be the same show without the main cast, especially Ian Hart as Don and Josh Stewart as Holt.

As long as Lucy, don, holt and willa were back, I think it would be fine. All the other major characters are dead.

Funnily enough a show like "Dirt" is more relevant now than at its inception.
Really hoping that the story of a return is true because they really could come back with a bang.
Lucy Spiller at the head of an empire ala TMZ and the stories she finds or has to create.
Would love this show to get darker and edgier (looking back it pales in comparison to some real life stories) and give us a catch up on where the characters have been for the past 6-7 years.
