Starts off slow, finishes well

This is no studio spectacular. About half way through I was debating whether to finish it. A low budget film that seemed more like a random group of impressions than an actual movie.

It got a lot better. All the elements were tightly tied together by the end of the film. It can't possibly be a top notch film on the budget it must have had, but it turned into a very solid science fiction movie with a few unexpected twists and pulled itself together well. True aficionados of science fiction will probably enjoy it. I know I did.
