The host of this documentary may as well suck Monet's dick!

This documentary shows exactly how and why Monet and other impressionists got famous back in those days. They sucked at art, horribly. Had no talent or skill, were lazy to learn and improve on their capabilities with the colors and brushes...

Yet, somewhat managed to "convince" or "buy" the newspapers of the time, to promote their work as "revolutionary, amazing, incredible, something to see, the new art", as much as this documentary promotes it.

With that, they became famous. Because what really counts is the mainstream news. Once they say something is good - we can all disagree, but the thing is now known as good and it will always be good.

The descriptions for each painting are insane. Every artist can portray light, as perfectly as it is. Reflections, water, clothing, movement, expressions... Mood... Every artist, with details and more beauty than Monet and any expressionist could ever imagine.

This wasn't a revolution, this was the death of art. A taste of what mainstream media and money can do to people's opinion.

At the bottom of our hearts we all agree. If you ignore all the talk and extreme attempts to sell the story behind these paintings, we all see they are just ugly, unfinished works.

Monet Sucks!

Episode 2, he says:

"Impressionists want to paint the moment, as fast as possible, to capture NOW".

That is so much *beep* Every painter want's to do that. But they do it, with a lot more skill and beauty, smooth picture breath taking like paintings. Not some rushed 1 hour crap.

Everything this host says, is taken from every form of art, but twisted to try and make sense of horrible quickly-factory like made "impressionism" artwork.

That is not art!
