Conservative Revisionist History Agenda CRAP

I watched the first couple of episodes of this disaster and cringed too many times to continue.

I think the production quality and cinematography is fantastic, but the writing and editing is pathetic. It's a favorite program of the ultra-right winged conservative types, but riddled with and agenda of revisionist history to support their agenda. For those who don't understand the term of "revisionist history", it means inaccurate interpretations that are re-written to support a particular agenda. This is a favorite technique of the conservatives. They re-interpret history and then try to say "see, this is what happened" so they can support their narrow views.

The acting is incredibly cheesy and the overall series was so poorly written with historical inaccuracies I would be embraced to show this on a network such as The History Channel.

Of course, conservatives champion this series. Anyone with actual understanding and education know this series was PATHETICALLY AGENDA DRIVEN CRAP.

And of course, your "version" is the truth right ?

If you only watched the first couple of episodes how can have the enough information to judge? Then you start talking down to the reader. I consider myself a liberal and I rather enjoy the series.

When engaging a subject as sweeping as the American Revolution, much has to be left out. By deciding which aspects are important and which are unimportant, a perceptual stamp was put on the series. We all view life through our own unique filter of perception. You, however, through your final statement imply that anyone who doesn't share your view is uneducated and lacks understanding. It must be rather lonely in your world.

I find it very telling that you don't provide one scrap of evidence to support your claim. Not one specific example from the program nor any historical evidence to defend your position. Clearly, YOU are the one with the political agenda. Further, if you're going to talk down to people who don't share your political beliefs and insinuate that they are uneducated...you might want to learn to back up your opinion when stating it. That's something most people learn to do in High School.

PS

Both Liberals AND Conservatives are guilty of "revisionist history".
