Well. I think it's gonna be a close-run thing now. It'll probably be a France vs Germany final (although given the events of the last couple of days, who knows what the hell is going to happen?!). France and Germany have each taken out teams that *should* have beaten them, but what will actually happen if and when they meet will be very interesting. If I had to call it now, I'd probably say Germany will win, but I certainly wouldn't stake anything on it.

shareAs individual players, France are amazing. As a team, they are, more often than not, a shambles. If they can pull out a performance against Portugal like they just did against Brazil, then they can send the cheating scumbags home. I'd love them to do it, I just don't know if they've got what it takes to beat Germany as well. In addition to their encouraging game against Argentina, you can not underestimate the value of playing on home soil.

I think you're definately right about Italy and Portugal being in third and fourth, and Germany and France being first and second, but the exact order, I don't know. I think it could be Germany, France, Italy, Portugal.

France or Germany can will, Germany might have the upper hand because they are hosts, but i can tell it is Frances year, it will be nice for Zidane to end on a high.
