Mexico is promising.

Mexico has been growing. Their performace in the cup had been a little disappointing until their very last game when they dominated but still lost to Argentina. I think though, that by the next world cup Mexico will do much better, pending they have a good coach. They are the sub-17 world champions and the star player from that cup was Giovanni Dos Santos, a Mexican. So maybe, just maybe, Mexico will not disappoint their citizens in South Africa.

Yes, they can do it. If there's a will, there's always a way!

Of course we can do it! Since World Cup Mèxico 1986 we have demonstrated that we can be really competitive against any team in the world.

The next generation of Mexican players is promising as the OP said:
Dos Santos, Màrquez, Salcido, Osorio, Vela, Correa, Ochoa, Guardado, Bautista, Landin, Esquivel, etc.

I hope we can get through the round of 16.

You should. I'm still with Mexico, thought they weren't that strong, but they still play some great football. I would love to watch them play live one day. :)
