Any one know?

I'd like to know, too.

It's a very low budget vampire movie. I think it's a C movie. Bad dialog, bad fake blood, bad acting. All around good movie to torture your friends with :)

reply

I'd like to know too. Is this movie worth renting?

reply

Heck yeah it's worth the rent. What the hell is $4 mate? If you want a good low budget movie then this is for you. But don't expect BLADE for God's sake.

It's set in a working class Oakland CA neighborhood. Three young guys are share a house together when they get some odd new neighbors renting the house down the street. When one of these young guys accidentally discovers his new neighbors are vampires, he tries to convince his roommates (a horror movie buff and a tough skeptic) that they need to do something about it before it is too late. The plot is decent but the acting is very basic and I don't think this movie was designed to be a horror classic or anything. The DVD has outtakes from the movie that are kinda funny too. I rented it only because I had a free rental coupon at the video store so I didn't waste anything. My wife and I watched it and it was okay so check it out if you want but don't expect anything like a Stephen King or John Carpenter movie.

well, it was not the pearl, but it was worth watching imo. Acting was poor and funny (aaaaarghh), but the plot kept me excited, it was better than many movies on cinemas today somehow. For the low budget - its good :-)
