This is just my OPINION, but I think this show is hilarious...my hunch is a lot of people

a.) don't get or don't appreciate the biting satire of the show's dead-on attack of stereotypes on all sides OR

b.) don't appreciate past animated series this program pays homage to such as Challenge of the SuperFriends or Justice League...I love the scenes with the White Shadow and his gang just like Lex Luthor yelling at the members of the Legion of Doom...this show's creators really did their homework...

Along with Squidbillies, Minoriteam and all of the other 2005/2006 new programs are far superior to the old and worn out Family Guy, Harvey Birdman, Sea Lab, etc. etc.

It's not about politics (Republican? Democrat? Black? White? Rich? Poor? Gay? Straight?) This show eschews everyone and sanctifies no one. My favorite character is Standardized Test...so true!

This show won me over with The Standardized Test.

this show is awful, how can you not "get" this show, theres nothing complicated or intelligent about it.
the venture brothers is the best show on adult swim right now.

a)Yeah because the satires on this show are so darn hard to figure out. Its not a complicated show. This is not a reason why people don't like the show. This show is like that Mind of Mencia garbage. Playing on the "we make fun of all groups equally" routine is HACKY. Its not funny.

Yes there are stereotypes in this world, no, I'm not offended by their use, the S show just does a terrible job at what it attempts. THE ASIAN GUY IS SMART, ROFFLEZ. TEH BLACK GUY LIKES WHITE WOMEN! NOBODY IS SAFE, YA KNOW? Please...

b)Fans of superhero comics and tv shows seem like they are doing everything to destroy America's entertainment industry. You guys can't get enough references to superfriends/justice league/marvel comics, so all us normal people get nothing but terrible superhero movies in the theaters and shows like minoriteam on adult swim.

Squidbillies is funny. Minoriteam is like a massive collection of the most annoying, trying-too-hard voice actors on the face of this planet (the asian character on this show is like nails on chalkboard) making weak jabs at racial stereotypes. Its not funny. Its not topical. It gets its ratings from idiots who like Mind of Mencia and people who can't grow out of the superhero fad. I hope whoever is responsible for this show gets dragged behind a woodshed and beaten severely for helping to turn the adult swim lineup into the mediocre thing it has become.

only show worth watching on Cartoon Network...The critics are just humorless, PC Kool Aid drinking types. The white man has been reviled for years in the media and at colleges, now it's his turn to jab back. PC types can't laugh at themselves and the foibles of minorities they profess to love so much.

I'm not politcally correct. Thats the problem with you damn people that watch shows like this. Any person that realizes that the show has bad writing and hacky racial jokes, people like you just start ranting about how we don't get the humor or we are too politically correct to like it. IS THERE NOT A POSSIBILITY THAT IT ISN'T FUNNY? There are a lot of comedians/shows I watch that deal with stereotypes and the different races in a similar way but are actually well-written. Believe it or not: not every person that hates this show doesn't hate it because they are offended, but because it isn't FUNNY.

You, to me at least, seem like you enjoy this show because you are an angry white guy who will grow up to be one of those people that just complains about affirmative action and Mexicans taking your job all day.

I get both things about the show... completely.
But it isn't funny.
And the animation sucks... it almost gives me seizures.

I guess it just depends on your sense of humor. Some types of humor just appeal more to some than others.

the show just sucks i agree with the dude who compared it to mind of mencia though i do like mind of mencia, i get the jokes in the show they're just not funny, the art style is a cool change but the way scenes flow was done horribly and again the voices/writing sucks. period. this might have been an original idea a while back, but now its begining to be overplayed, again the show is just horrible. though i do think adult swim is doing a killer job with all their other new shows/ new episodes of other shows.
