The only good way to watch this is to hope they lose

The amount of fkin melodrama that goes on when all people are doing is picking boxes. They look depressed when they lose a big number, even the people who opened the box look like they've done something wrong. You only opened a box mate, relax, you had no control over it you spastic.

Then you have these people being offered 10 grand and turning their nose up at it..then they lose everything. That's when the show is brilliant, take your penny and fock off home you joker, put a load of boxes in your garden, invite your friends round and sit there opening them all day and crying, like the box obsessed morons you are.

Anyway, I hope these people are actors tbh, real people surely can't act like this. Ideally I'd like everyone who has ever appeared on the show to die in a big fire, that I started by setting light to noel esmonds beard.

Bit harsh, but I know what you mean.

I wouldn't go as far as wanting them to lose, unless they were extremely obnoxious. But some of the things you mentioned annoy me too.

Firstly, this idea that the contestant opening the box has any control of what's inside gets a bit silly. Noel giving it; "Please don't let it be a red." If it's anybody's responsibility for the big number being there, it's the person who picked the box not the person who opened it. Even then, it's random. I get that they are trying to create tension, and can't just go; "Oh, open what you like. It's all blind luck anyway." But it's still feels OTT at the time.

What is even more annoying though is that when a contestant deals at, say £20,000, then looks disappointed that they could've got higher. Say the next round the banker offers £35,000. They stand around looking disappointed. It's like, cheer up. You did just win £20k on a game show.
