Logical rebuttals for this movie.

-Flesh and bone, but not steel? Why didn't they just cut the lead pipe they were chained to?
-Where did Jigsaw get the 4 shotguns? Lastly, if he was just being a vigilante, why did he have a lethal trap for somebody he doesn't know?
I was disgusted with the movie premise from the beginning, but now i have logical footing. I'll add arguments as I go on.
Saw 2:
-How did Jigsaw put the key behind the police guy's eye? If he cut it out, how didn't he notice he couldn't see out of one eye and couldn't move it either?
-If this guy's a dangerous, trap-based killer, why would they send police angnts into the place he was hiding and working to stop him? Also, why didn't they at least supply them protective suits, explosives, and gas masks?
-Where did Jigsaw get all those needles? I'm quite sure you can't buy hospital-grade needles from just anywhere, and I'm sure he wouldn't have enough money anyway. Hospitals just don't dump that stuff out everywhere either.
-How big were Kerry's ribcage needles? How much force did this 'device' put on her chest upward to cause that much destruction?
-The whole Amanda trap series seems like it was just so they could put a bunch of gore in the movie, once again ruining its effect.
-How far apart are the movies set? I don't see hwo you can die by being in a room alone.

wow seriously, come on. its just a movie. Since when do movies have to be completely logical?

Huh? Dehydration? Starvation? Who are you talking about?

Oh yeah, and you're on the message board for the wrong movie.

We come into the world naked, screaming and covered in blood. Why should the fun end there?

Actually, they are talking about the series in general, not a particular Saw movie and since this is the beginning of the series, technically they are posting in the right place—although it would reach more people in the board for Saw (2004) since most people know that as the start of the series.

Not forgetting, Saw III fed you the answer that Amanda killed him. You can be in a room for 5 minutes or two days, you'll still die from a plastic bag over your head.

- There was nothing to indicate whether or not the pipes were weaker or stronger than the chains or their own flesh and bone, but there are several shots throughout the film of both Adam and Gordon checking the pipes, so it's safe to assume that sawing them would've had the same result.
- He could've bought them, stolen them, tricked someone into giving them to him... any number of ways. You're nitpicking the shotgun trap out of all the others? If you're going to say that, why not "Where did he get the bathroom?" "Where did he get the razor wire?"
- Answered in Saw VII.
- The police didn't know as much about Jigsaw at that point, so it was logical for them to try and arrest him once they knew where he was. And the police were wearing protective suits.
- Same thing as the shotgun question.
- No idea.
- Agreed.
- How about starvation, dehydration or exhaustion, or a combination of the three?
