What has this short film to do with Saw (2004)? I mean Adam plays a guy named David and he is playing the same game as Amanda, and it was produced in 2003 but aired 2005.

Can someone please explain.

I learnt of this short today. This was apparently the original short which was to present the idea of Saw so it could be made into an actual movie. :D

That is my understanding of it.

This short-clip was made to impress the producers, what im assuming. You know, like a cover letter. So the charcters(David) were not really linked to the actual film that came out eventually. Get it.

Does it come in black??

It had the same role as the pilot episode of a TV series: to sell the concept to the producers.
